Assuming you have the I-5 motor...BEFORE you replace the wires. Remove the
spark wire loom, pry it apart and remove the wires. Remove each wire,
unscrew the spark plug cap, measure resistance--5K OHM, check spark plug cap
inside for arcing, then clean wire with brake cleaner. Clean thoroughly ALL
grease, oil and moisture. Get after market spark plug wire looms from Pep
Boyz, Auto Zone, etc. (The plastic U-shape items that speed racer uses).
Reassemble using plastic pieces to separate each wire from others. Wires
will stay out of harms way! Save yourself $80-100. Discard factory loom.
