transmission fluid leak

I have a 94 Audi 100CS quattro which has been losing automatic transmission
fluid.  Initially, there was leaking coming from the dipstick which has
since been corrected.  I am still losing some fluid, for   I had had to add
a quart on 2 occassions within the last 12 months.  Car only has 84K, and is
a solid car but for this problem.  I will get an odor sometimes which I
attribute to this leakage, but can not pinpoint leak or odor.  Has anyone
else experienced this problem?
