re. 100 cs cooling fans running

[Hello all,

Can anyone tell me why all of a sudden my cooling fans run when i turn the
car on and shut off when i turn it off.  They run the entire time the car is
on.  This cant be good.

A Bad (failed closed) radiator switch has been known to do this on a few
cars - namely mine. BTDT on '89 100Q & '87 5kcstq among other VAG with
electric fan.  Disconnect the wires to the switch and rule that culprit in
or out.
