Man, you are organized...impressive =) My car won't smog, for a car that is
worth about $500 (85 4kq with peeling metallic paint option) I've put way too
much time into troubleshooting it already. Just older cars in general I
guess, they need a certain amount of maintenence over new cars that takes its
toll...my 80tq, however, has been dead relaible, but then again, I have
re-enginnered practically every part on the car before it had a chance to
break, including the CIS and everything else in the engine compartment.
Honestly, there is not ONE stock part between the airfilter and the exhaust
tip aside from the engine block and cylinder head casting and vacuum assist
for the brakes..scary =)
