CIS-E problems 86 4KQ

I just purchaced my first Audi about two months ago. Since I drove the 4KQ
home (Sanfransico to Seattle) the fuel injection has been giving me problems.
The previous owner claims to have changed the fuel filter , air filter and
Idle control Valve "right" before i bought the car. What my problem is has to
do with it warming up and also not having full throttle. first for the warm
up problem. I get in the car in the morning to start , runs fine , goes about
half a mile and then has a bucking problem , then i have to pull off the side
of the road and let it sit to warm up untill it is about a 1/4 of the way up
the temp gauge. then it runs alright. The full throttle problem i dont mind ,
its not like im driving it a full throttle all the time anyways ...... when i
push the gas pedal to the floor the car falls on its face , i can push it to
about 80% before it does this. I had an A/F ratio gauge laying around so i
thought i would hook it up to see what the mixture was like ..... the only
time it is even on the gauge is when i am at less than 25% throttle . other
than that it falls off the lean side of the gauge. if anyone can help me out
I would be very happy. thanks
