     Enough you guys.  There's a hundred ways to skin this cat.  Why don't
ya'll just agree that the official Audi method is what's in the service
manual and every other approach is "AT YOUR OWN RISK".  For those that want
to try and cheat the clock there's now plenty of archive information
available.  I say for my mechanical experience and my observations of how
easy it is to ding the caps and head; take the TB off and the cam gear off
and replace the seals.  But maybe I'm just to anal to worry about trying to
save the extra 10 minutes spent between tear down and re-assembly.

Just my comments, ignore as needed.  If you want to keep the thread alive I
know where the delete key is...  Just remember: "Never bring a box-cutter
to a Daisy-Cutter fight!"
