If it is a q, then it's a type 85 Per... if you buy a 90q, this one will
have to be 85-86 as in 87 they had introduced the type 89 and the goddamn
Tor$en!!!

Yup, that's me indeed...

Normally the only factory standard equipment is power locking but my car
doesn't have it...go figure!
Available as optional equipment were: Aircon (my car had it but I've
removed it but maybe I'll refit it when I'm done with the turbo/EFI
conversion), ABS, Leather interior, heated seats, power/heated mirrors,
power windows...
My car has power/heated mirrors, heated seats and leather interior, aircon
(removed though) and ABS....
At the moment 3 of my friends own coupe quattros and they have the
following equipment:
1: '85 Black leather interior, ONE power mirror (that's weird because the
family album only shows a mirror switch with L/R choice, his switch has
only the directionnal switch and no L/R switch and it looks original...)
power windows/lock
2: '86 Sunroof, ABS, power windows/lock
3: '87 Black leather interior, sunroof, power windows/lock and ABS...
The type 85 coupe quattro in the non-cat form is an excellent car, I
wouldn't like to have another CGT now that I've owned the CQ for a year and
6 days!
It also has excellent fuel consumption (my personnal record is 4.7l/100 kms
at speeds between 85 and 110 km/h) and maintenance costs are pretty low
provided you have some discounts on usual maintenance parts...
Hope this helps,
