My parent's '89 Subie Legacy has lasted (timewise, not milage) long
enough to have Audi-like problems. The lighting circuit seems to have
failed at the switch (stalk), and the window switches are suspect. To top
things off, the builder's of this car even sought to copy the exploits of
Team Doorhandle, only this is on the inside. (Help, Help, I can't get
out!).
