Car cover follow up

If you order custom, I don't think asking for an UrQ cover (I'd imagine
it's a little looser at the bottom to accomodate the flares) would cost
any extra. I personally would go for an UrQ cover if I had an UrQ, it'
would be easier on the fabric and the paint if the fabric isn't
stretched. If I had a CGT, I'd order for that. Loose fabric may flap
which could eventually abrade the paint or come adrift in higher winds. I
bought a custom fit Covercraft Evo4, which is the thick 4 layer stuff.
Went that way to see if I could prevent P-lot dings. IMHO, I would go for
the lighter (there's a new Kimberly-Clark fabric out now) which dries out
quicker, and may also be somewhat more water-resistant (according to
K-C's literature), which could be an issue when you live in freezing
climates. IMHO, the Evo 4 is thick, bulky but I don't think it seems
thick enough to stop the P-lot batting practice that seems to occur, no
matter how carefully you park you car in an out of the way place.
