Hi Bernard,

Incase you didn't adequately answer your dad's question, here is some
useful information

In ancient England, a person could not have sex unless you had consent of the
King (unless you were in the Royal Family). When anyone wanted to have a baby,
they got consent of the King, the King gave them a placard that they hung on
their door while they were having sex. The placard had F.U.C.K. (Fornication
Under Consent of the King) on it. Now you know where that came from.

Cheers,
Achint

Hi Maurits,

Most of these are slang, or at best, idiomatic expressions. Let me know if
you want an explaination.

One of the high points in my life, as a teenager, was when my father, a
native German who moved to American just before I was born, sat me down one
evening when I was about 14 years old :-), and asked: What does "Fuck" mean?
He had heard it used around the office a few times and was naturally
curious.
