I was delightly surprised finding stepped studs in Sears Hardware store. I never looked at their fastening aisle before. They have 6/8, 8/10 mm. Thanks to the lister from Canada who pointed me there. Sorry, I don't remember name and I stored that mail on PC at work. Regards, Konstantin Bogach.
