I came across this on a BMW site- is this guy full of it or is he
correct?

I'm inclined to think that he is not entirely correct- Lexol does
seem to help, esp. on the top of the rear seat and the rear
headrests, although I've never tried Leatherique or Connolly Hide
Food.
