Subject: Front suspension 'clunck' when steering at full lock

Hi list,

3 years ago I replaced my '85 CGT stock front springs with -35mm lowered
ones (from Jamex) but after 2 years they began to 'clunck' while steering at
full lock. I replaced the upper bearings and mounted Monroe shocks in the
proces. The clunck was gone for about 6 months, but when the clunck
returned, I began to suspect the (cheap) lowered springs and replaced them
with the stock springs again. Now the car is 'ugly' and still got the
'clunck'... What could be the 'other' reason? Any BTDTs?

Regards,
Maurits
