The car has the same engine as any Golf/Jetta with the 2.0 liter four
cylinder crossflow.  You might want to look for info about those cars
too.  BTW is the car no longer under warranty?  I believe VW has a
10 year/100K miles coverage on the drivetrain which I am not sure if
engine management electronic components are included.  You might want to
look into that.  The labor of replacing just the MAF and the fuel pump
relay should be relatively minimal.
