Problem with mounting a V1 behind plastic on the front of the car is that i=
t also has a rear-facing antenna which will now be hidden.  Trust me... the=
 ability to determine the direction of the received signal is important.  I=
f one is not using the V1 then 'hiding' it behind plastic... with proper we=
atherizing... should not degrade the performance.
