I believe that is why the original poster mentioned mounting it in his
through the glass cell phone antenna box (i.e. high up, hidden in plastic
front and rear). Another possibility is to mount it into some sort of box
that sits on the rear shelf, just don't know what it will do to the angle
of view of the front antenna and it will blind lidar reciever(s).
