The belt might last to 90k, but the water pump likely won't, which is what
will lead to the early demise of your timing belt.

Audi recommends 90k, some Q listers have recommended 75k.  Isn't 60k a
bit premature?

Well, first off - see if you can find somewhere to buy an extended
warranty
plan. We bought ours from www.warrantybynet.com. Audi will also offer
extended warranty plans.

Second - you'll need to replace the timing belt in another 12.000 miles,
@60K.

Third - is this your first ever Audi? If so - beware! There's something
about owning and driving these cars that is highly addictive - it won't
be
your last! ESPECIALLY a Quattro. Are you on snow country?
