One more A4 brake question...

First, big thanks to everyone that responded to my first question! Now, the
caliper seems to be releasing a little more now, in fact, the wheel was cool
to the touch after my morning commute (it was very warm just yesterday after
the same drive) Is it possible that whatever corrosion that may exist within
the caliper is being  worn away by playing with it like I have been? The
piston really has little resistance, but as Kneale pointed out, that means
little in real use.
