Proud new owner of '98 A6

lee, the old body style started in 92 with the 100 and ended in 1998.
strangely, audi came out with the a6 and a4's with the new suspension
and the 5 valve per head tiptronic engine.  unfortunately, the 98 a6
wagon came with the old 2 valve per cylinder engine and no tiptronic.
if they made a 98 a6 wagon with tiptronic i would definitely have it -
the 3rd seat in the older style is way more functional instead of the
midget sized bench that is found in the new avants.

here is the hp difference between the engines for the a6 wagon (avant)
99-02  2.8 30 valve 200 hp
92-98 2.8 12 valve 172 hp.
