Upgraded Brakes

Well,
It's final- the UFOs are gone!

996 calipers over a 320mm rotor have replaced the UFOs on my car.

The result- well, it's too early to say just yet, but my immediate
impressions are that the pedal is much, much firmer, braking seems
very well modulated and very powerful.

I'll have to wait until the pads bed in before I can truly say how
good these brakes are.

The other plus- they look really cool behind my Avus wheels. :-)

I promised GregA some photos- when I get a digital camera and some
free time, I'll send him photos to put on the BIRA site.

I can say this, though- my initial impression is that the brakes are
as much an improvement over the UFOs as were the UFOs over the G60s.

If you have a V8 or a 200q20v, I strongly recommend you look into
this as an upgrade (if you have at least 16" wheels).
