A4 T-belt replacement

Just replaced the timing belt on 98.5 A4 1.8TQT this weekend with the
help of Bentley publishers and Andy's writeup which can be found at
http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/750523.phtml.  Everything went
according to plan with only very minor glitches.

In reference to the debate from last week (quattro list) regarding the
water pump on these cars and it's relationship to the timing belt; they
are two separate systems on the 1.8T engines (at least 98 MY) and a
failure of the water pump would have zero effect on the timing belt.  It
sounds like it is a different scenario on the V6 powerplants, though.
