It runs without the Fuel ECU even connected, but I've
seen those wires, and wonder what the effects are of
not having them hooked up?

I haven't had a chance to even look at that again.  If
it works, I'm hooking it up before I even fire up the
new engine!  Hmm, I don't have a WOT switch, I wounder
if I need to recommision that?
