20vt vs 10vt Head Gasket Comparison

When I got home today there was a nice package from
Rod at TPC with the usual water pump, TB, seals, etc.,
and oh yea, one ur-S4 head gasket.  Let me tell you,
as soon as I picked it up I knew I was in love.  It's
three layers of all metal compared to the metal
re-enforced fiber gasket of the 10vt.  Many people
said it wasn't necessary, but with the new T04E/K26
turbo that's going to be flexing it's muscles, I will
be glad to have this head gasket in there.  Here are

I also dropped the head off for machining at Ridge
Reamers today.  They did a great job polishing my
crank, um, and really know what they are talking about
with the Audi's.  Thanks to the listers who
recommended them in the Denver area.
