you got two senders that can turn the fan on.  the one you mention and
the after run one, on a bracket at the back of the head.

get the fan running (battery charger?), and undo each of these senders
connections.  if it stops, you prolly found a bad sender.

if neither one stops it, proceed to the relays they trigger.  Pulling
them will narrow down which one is the problem.

If you're lucky you won't have to cope with anything more complex than
this (like finding melted/shorted wiring harnesses)
