tire dilemna

Hi everybody-
I have two sets of tires available to me for free and I can't decide which
to use for snow driving on '84 ur.

Option 1:
No name (?) -- Primera A/S
195/65 R15  89T  M+S
Treadwear A  Temp B
Brand new
the tires have 3 center grooves and all other tread cuts are perpendicular
to the grooves.  Side cut is rounded

Option 2:
Michelin MXL
195/65 R15 91T  Snow tire
Treadwear A  Temp B
-Used 1 season--2/3 the tread depth as the other set
better side cut--more of a block with ridges
plus...I only have 3...the 4th was ruined

So the first set is complete (4) and brandnew all season with full tread
depth...but they're no name tires that probably don't excel at
anything----the second set is used, I only have 3--so I'd have to find a
used one to match, but they are Michelin snows....I'd rather have Arctic
Alpins or something but am not going to spend the money right now.
