shame in using mechanics?

Some of us do have a higher tolerance before resorting to mechanics though.

To wit...

Minus 10 degrees (Canadian) and another unnamed lister and I are pulling his
starter (90Q) last night- and we were NOT in a garage.

Don't even ask about when we hooked the battery back up with the only set
of keys in the car and the doorlocks clicked shut....!
