Brian, even with the chip and a perfect running motor, an MC with a K26 and
CIS doesn't make much power past 5500rpm anyway, the sweet spot is about 3k
-5k RPM, the chip will only give you more boost, and power, in that range.
If you want real fast response down low I'd recommend getting a K24, but
installing the chip in either scenario, its a great upgrade.

Prix, but I guess I've been spoiled by 20+mpg on the highway. And the
 ability to turn.
Anyway, despite knowing that a 7.8:1 CR is a major liability, there
must be some way to improve it. I don't drag race and I don't need
300hp (yet). But I would like to see 1.3 bar before I have to shift
 into 2nd.
If the qlcc upgrade works by allowing only at the high end, then I'll
need to work on the hardware first, chips later. Just trying to
 figure this all out.
