As long as you used "directional paint," which draws photons in from the
front and rejects/emits them rearward (resulting in the car looking
darker from the front and lighter from the rear). Depending on how well
it was applied (homogeneity and density of directional pigments, getting
them to lie at the proper angle, etc.), this can provide up to a 10%
improvement - even more on sunny days (driving east in the AM, west in
the PM, of course - plan your commute carefully!). With appropriately
chosen pigments, the effect is further enhanced by whatever infrared and
ultraviolet light is available.

New experiments show that it is even possible to harness cosmic rays in
the same fashion, increasing power so much that speeds can exceed even
huge multiples of your tire ratings. This can lead to some odd effects
in time trials, notably that the on-board clock will show better times
than the track chronometer. The shortened wheelbase which will occur
under these conditions can take some getting used to, though.
Don't forget those Blue-Blocker sunglasses, either, as the Doppler
effect will be hard on your eyes. The installation of infrared (night
vision) rear view mirrors is also recommended for the same reason.
