Rear wheel hum..

	Evening all,

Got a slight hum coming from the left rear on the '96 A4q, just had that
very wheel bearing replaced today, and it now makes a rhythmic humming noise
that sounds for all intents and purposes like a bad wheel bearing, only not
gritty like a really bad one. Is there any chance that the new Audi bearing
is bad? Could an improper installation hurt the bearing? How about the CV
joint? Would a slightly worn CV make a humming noise? When I put the car in
the air and gave the wheel a spin, there is a definite noise coming form the
general hub area, but it's hard to tell. If anyone has any ideas, I would
love to hear them!!
