Predominant opinion from listers that have used Delrin _seems_ to be that
they make a lot of noise and are too stiff for even the staunchest
enthusiasts. The originals do a very fine job for daily street use when in
new condition.
With a press, you should have no problem replacing them. I've done it twice
without a press. It's important to remember to only tighten the frame bolts
_after_ the suspension is loaded (static with weight on the wheels).
Rod at The Parts Connection (Rod at thepartsconnection.com) has good prices, and
great service. I use him every chance I get. Just today I received an
ignition switch from him for $11, the dealer wanted $38.
