Check out the SJM site regarding this problem.  There are a number of things
that can cause the hi idle problem including any marginal electrical
connection with any component sending a signal to the ECU.  Deoxit and
Stabilant 22 will cure these problems.  Also, don't overlook the small
temperature sensors by the thermostat housing.  I once found a loose throttle
plate (the screws were loose on the throttle shaft causing the plate to slip
down slightly and hang up causing a hi idle condition).  On that car, a
slight tap on the accelerator pedal would reposition the throttle plate and
the idle would return to normal.
