Install windshield myself?

Right. And you're supposed to let the car sit for 24-48 hours after the
glass install so that the silicon can cure properly. Kinda tough to do that
if the mobile replacement service does the work in the parking lot at your
office.
However, most dealers don't do the work themselves. They usually sub it out
to the mobile replacement services.
I'd rather choose my own glass man, rather than using the dealer's sub. I
have had my windshields replaced, twice, in my garage, where the car didn't
move for 3 days afterwards.
