You don't mention models, but since there is no type 89 avant, I'll
assume you have a type 44 of some sort.
This info is based on the smaller cars, but it will be pretty accurate I
think.
The power seats will mount quite differently in the front and require
some transplanting of sheet metal. This can be and has been done, but
it will require a little dedication to the project!
The seat heater harness will need to be moved over, with its switches
and relays. This circuit is usually discrete, i.e. no fighting with
eight other circuits to separate it.
The power seats require a big fat fused red (+) and brown (-) wire to be
run to them to operate. They are direct battery power feeds, the seats
work all the time. The memory function is more complicated but can be
left off and ignored, you can always add it in later if you feel like
it.
