AAN ignition coils in a 7A head?

Does anyone know if AAN ignition coils will fit in a 7A head the
way they apparently do in an AAN head?  Is the shape of the plug
holes different, or did they pattern the little coils to fit into the
existing head design (3B)?

I may pick up a 7A head if it's usable for a 20v turbo project.  Jay
on this list apparently has done this (put one on an MC block), but
I don't know if it is finished and running or in process.  I also don't
know if his use of aftermarket rods was required to make stuff fit, or
if they were chosen for increased strength.  I know that pistons are
supposedly needed for the correct compresson ratio for this
combination.

Is there anyone else that's done this?
