Type 43 fuel pump

Yes the fuel pump is in the fuel tank except n the diesels which is
 is part of the fuel injector pump.  Opening for the fuel pump is under
the
back seat on the sedans.  Unscrew the cover and you will see the
opening on the top of the fuel tank.
