What!? And DO actual police WORK? Same story here,
most are happy to just take the easiest tickets,
rather than actually looking at the laws and trying to
prevent social upheaval. Only when something becomes
a serious issue do they actually work.(Hint:Road Rage)
NOTE: Not ALL police behave this way! But, I do
know quite a few personally, and it is much easier to
turn on the radar and read the paper til someone comes
along. Unfortunately, this doesn't discriminate
between someone doing what Phil desribes (me always)
and someone tailgating, weaving, passing on the
shoulder or driving such an unsafe wreck at high
speeds that they not only endanger themselves but
others they are near. For this they'd have to be
observant, attentive and knowledgeable. Obviously
much too much work.
