marketplace on list

Ok, so I'm guilty, but I think there are always
benefits to posting stuff for sale on the list. How
many times have you thought, hmm, I'd like to do this
to my car someday if I can find a good deal on the
parts. Then someday roles along without you even
knowing it when you see those parts posted on the
list. My point is, even though you may check the
archives quite a bit, you may still miss out. On the
other hand, I had a turbo out there on the marketplace
for a few months, with almost no action. Then when I
had some other goodies to sell, I made one post, and
the stuff was out the door. I also wanted everyone to
be aware of it because I needed money fast, and would
have resorted to ebay if people from the list were not
interested. I do agree that there is no reason to
repost stuff for sale. Those people should be whipped
or made to drive Saabs. Oh yea, the length of this,
and related threads must be rivaling the amount of
stuff that's posted for sale, hmm.....
