Didn't know that when I sent my previous post.

Completely agree. That's actually how I found my current V8, that I bought
from www.audiconnection.com. Did a web-search, and found it for sale on the
Audifans marketplace, so that is very effective.
However, as I attempted to indicate on my previous post (don't think I
actually ended up making the point between rambling on and such...), was
that the spoiler recently posted *could* have been *first* posted on the
marketplace (which is wasn't), and subsequently a "commercial" for the new
listing could then have been sent to the list, which then prompted me to
actually go take a look at the marketplace - where - lo and behold - I saw a
few *other* items that I also didn't "need", but sure wanted! Chris's
"commercial" actually sent me to the marketplace to look at the item FS.
That brings to mind a new idea:
To you web-savvy list owners and web-developers, what might it take to send
out a daily digest of new marketplace postings to the entire list? Y'know,
just the headlines:
TODAY's NEW MARKETPLACE LISTINGS:
Headlight for 1989 100
Set of wheels - Ronal
Momo steering wheel
Rear trunk lid for 80/90
Chip for A6
Something to that effect. That way everyone sees what's new on the list, and
nobody now needs to actually post their FS items directly to the list. E-bay
sends some such listing - but only concerning items you have on your "watch
list".
The only thing now remaining would be Huw's suggestion of sending a heads-up
of stuff FORD (found On Road Dead) Sorry I couldn't resist... I mean the
stuff listers see while passing by - like the Penn V8 recently mentioned.
And I think someone on the list bought it after hearing about it through the
list, isn't that so?
Anyway, hope this may be of some help.
