Cammed 4kq and cold weather

I have a similar configuration on my 4kq. I recently had a rough start
on a cold day after my car had been sitting in the co-op parking lot for
about an hour. This was odd because it had started perfectly after
stitting for two days in sub-zero temps. I attributed the problem to
junk in the injectors (which happens to me occasionally because I'm such
a bum about refilling my tank before the 1/4 tank mark) but your story
sounded very familiar and I remember that it happened a couple times
last winter too.
Of course this winter there have been precious few days where this would
be a problem. I have only gotten to use my Hakka Qs once in snow and
that was a measly pathetic amount. Ice racing has been nixed and so has
cross country skiing.
It is these cold grey, snowless days that make one think of heading
south. Not to the tropics but some place much, much furth south:
