Hey John and James,
Glad to see you two guys finally hooked up. As you'll remember Victoria
and I met you both on consecutive nights. Any lister visiting John is liable
to experience some fine food and probably some directions for a fine scenic
route to Santa Maria over the San Marcos Pass (at least if your cominbg from
Santa Barbara) , - a highlight of our trip. Happy memories.
PS John the Chevvy V8 story continues very slowly, I'll update you when
theres more to tell but a 350 has now entered Stage Left!
Ok, now for the MAC, I'm about to have a look at the front calipers on
my '88 100. Am I right in thinking 'Teves' and 'ATE' are one and the same
thing?. Question number two, - are the guide pins basically a non wearing
item due to rubber/plastic bushing arrangements, or are they an item likely
to need replaceing?, Also my Haynes manual neglects to mention the allen
wrench size required to fit them.
Cheers Guys and TIA to all,
rob
