its probably the MC (the one on the pedal) at least it was on my 87 5KTQ did the exact same thing. the best price i found was from Rod at the parts connection, good luck getting it local it will probably cost 2x as much and not be OEM. if you can be without the car for a few days I would give Rod a call.
this is also a great time to flush out the entire system!
