Audi Knocking Problem Please Help Me, Need it badly...

I cant believe the mighty Q-list hasnt given any reply to this question
and problem. As a fellow viking, maybe I can give some suggestions? I
must be the first to admit that I have no clue here, but still, it's
better to discuss a bit than getting no replys at all!
Engilbert, you say that the car knocks. Can you expand this a bit more?
Is it the engine that knocks, is the ignition or the whole engine that
bounces? Oh, and one very important question, which model year is your
Audi, and is it a carbed or fuel injected engine? The engine code could
be helpful as well!
And another thing, depending on your model year, I hardly think there is
any way to pull any codes from your car. Still, that depends on the
model year.
