Carlo, yes, there would be big problem, the 7A bottom end with the 10v head would result in something like 12:1 compression. Just as strong and very similar would be the 4kq bottom end, would give you a nice bump in compression to 8.5, only thing is no oil squirters. I'd try to source an MC2 motor, would drop right in and give you some more compression, but the MC2 is much more sensitive to timing and detonation issues, something to keep in mind.
As far as oil lines, any of the oil filter housings are basically interchangeable.

>Would there be much of a problem of putting a 87 5kt head on a 90CQ bottom end? I know that the 7a block does not have the oil lines of the turbo. wondering what I would end up with for compression. Take the exhaust and turbo from the 5000 and fuel from 034efi. Would, could, should be an easy/quick swap? Thoughts on the oil lines, sandwich type oil cooler on the filter. Filter, cooler, turbo and back to the filter. sorry for the random thoughts coming out of my head. Help me organize them and fill in the blanks.
