Hi Greg.
  I did this PIA job today, in 102 degree heat! I didn't find it all that
bad, not as bad as I thought. On my car, the tube with the spiral was held in
place by a clamp, then by the goop. Are those small tubes hollow or solid?
   Also, when I unhooked the hose connection on the valve, it went
"phhhhhhhhttt". So I guess mine was stuck. I had the system vacuumed out b4 I
did it too.
  Were the two small tubes held apart by more goopy material? Mine were, and
that was a pain to put back right.
  I just hope it works now, cause I need A/C in at least ONE of my cars!!
