O2 sensors replaced: It's a puppy again!

As a "commercial" outfit, you should stick to the prescribed units, as your
customers will expect no less.

BUT for the shadetree mechanics on the QList, such as myself, the 13913 unit
works fine. You have obviously been schnuckered into believing the "myth" about
O2 sensors being specific to each vehicle.

NONSENSE!

If that were the case, then the would cost much more than they do, the only
vehicle specific part of a 3 wire O2 sensor is the plug that fits into the
described vehicle's wiring system. Now, if someone says that "ALL" O2 sensors
are the same, then they are wrong. There are 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire(actually a
three wire with an extra ground), and most recently there are some even more
specific applications for pre and post catalytic converter sensors.

For those of you contemplating replacing your own O2 sensors, and you have the
3-wire sensor, go ahead and get the 13913 unit and splice on your own end plugs,
they will work fine. Myself and MANY others on this list can attest to that
FACT.
