I am replying to once again try to extinguish this misinformation.
The only common parts between the 2.3 and 2.2 ignition systems are
plugs, wires, cap and rotor; although the coils appear to be
interchangeable (I've swapped them around for fun), they are also
different parts with different specs.
The control unit is *not the same*
The web catalog is in error.
