Front brake warping on A6's?

I just had my *second* set of front pads and rotors replaced
(under warranty) for warping on my 2000 A6Q in 24K miles.
The service guy says this is a "known issue" with A6's, and
Audi is "working on a fix".

Anyone else having warping problems on the front of their A6?
