Type 43 5KT front struts

Guys,
While we're on the subject; how about for a Type 43 5000?
It seems that the hub is part of the strut housing, and would require removal of the tie-rod,
control arm, brake caliper, and drive shaft. Is it possible to just loosen it from the top and
change the strut insert and spring, while keeping the rest of it intact?
