Well I made the ill-fated trip to Louisiana, car died about 5 times along
the way and started back and really died 20miles short of my destination.
Thank goodness for tow trucks. When the car would die, the check engine
light would come on, oil buzzer buz then motor stops(all within a second or
two). After 15minutes or so it would start and there I go 150 miles or so
and it would die again. I ran with the ac on one time and it only made
about 5 miles.
I just took a spark plug out and it definatly isnt getting a spark.
I need to get this thing goin before it winds up in the bottom of a bayou.
I`m trying to check the hall sender. Under the dist cap, rotor, and dust
cover is the thing with the windows in it, how does it come off? Im trying
to get to the wiring , looks like three phillip head screws holding it. I
hooked up an LED (not tool 1115) and it wouldnt flash as per bentley so
that`s why I suspect it, of course I could be doing things wrong. I`m
thinking the ignition module or hall sender is faulty. My ignition coil
tested fine after using ohm meter correctly.

   ARGH!
