How I read thatwas that it's not using up (loosing) any coolant.

Mike, do you mean that you're running water only? If so, your water pump days are are numbered (a week or two at best), the pump uses the coolant for lubrication, I recommend using at least a 20/80 split to ensure water pump longevity, and a bottle or two of watter wetter (can be substituted for coolant) BTDT a few times in the race cars.
